After this course non-testers will be better able to understand the objectives of testing that will allow them to communicate better with the testers, and more importantly, will allow them to create better code and collaborate with other team members effectively.

A number of workshops cover test case design and exploratory testing, manual testing of a real web application that uses Angular 2 and AWS, delivering and structuring feedback and defect management.

ISTQB

Foundation level

‘ISTQB Foundation level’ training is a mature project – it had more than 25 rounds with more than 200 successfully certified professionals and a very low (around 1.5%) failure rate.

The training follows the official ISTQB foundation Level syllabus and the ISTQB Glossary. For each chapter the participants pass a small test followed by a sample exam. After the training the students receive additional materials and a list of recommended literature.

Individual work with every participant – no one is left behind. Personalised recommendations for each student on the improvement areas along with the general recommendations on the ability to pass the exam.

But the most important part of the training is abundance of real life examples not only from the coach’s own experience on various projects in different countries, but also stories from real project life of her students and colleagues. The main accent of the training is mostly on learning the successful testing practices. Preparing for the certification is an important, but secondary goal.

As an additional bonus, the training includes a topic on efficient learning that will not only allow the students to prepare better for the exam, but also help them in learning new thing with greater ease in the future.
